The Love without Limits project works closely with parents and carers of LGBTQ+ young people to help them create safe, inclusive, and affirming home environments. Behaviours and attitudes that are harmful to LGBTQ+ young people at home often occur due to a lack of education or awareness. Through a structured programme of six sessions, families are supported to deepen their understanding of LGBTQ+ identities, explore the challenges faced by young people, and develop affirmative behaviours that foster acceptance and belonging.  

Building empathy will be a key component of this project; by creating personal connections and understanding of LGBTQ+ individuals and identities, Love Without Limits will help to break down stereotypes and humanise LGBTQ+ experiences. The programme will support parents and carers to develop stronger bonds and more understanding relationships with their LGBTQ+ young people.
