We are delighted to share that Laura Porro (she/her), Associate Director of Leadership and Organisational Development at Cambridge and Peterboroguh NHS, has reached out to us to let us know that she is fundraising for us by taking on a massive challenge: walking the Route of Truce in Greece!
In her own words:
“The Route of Truce is a 50k path in the West Peloponnese (Greece), leading through 13 villages to the well-known archaeological site of Olympia.
The event is inspired by the values of peace, tolerance and respect for all humans.
I will walk this path on the 27th April and it should take around 10 hours, so I will be lucky to be joined by the wonderful Dan Parish.
I am dedicating this effort to The Kite Trust: this charity does invaluable work for people in the LGBTQI+ community, their families and loved ones. It works to make society a more welcoming place for all.
