Our school-based programmes have been developed in collaboration with young people, teachers and other experts to ensure they meet the needs of our community. From January 2026, the Schools team will be providing a range of programmes and support across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and surrounding areas, including:
- Break The Bias workshops: School workshops for Year 7’s and 8’s to help build empathy and understanding and explore attitudes and behaviours which may lead to LGBTQ+phobia, bullying and hate crime
- Building Bridges programme: A 6-week restorative programme for young people at risk of/engaging in hate-based behaviours
- Safe To Be sessions: Individualised support sessions for LGBTQ+ young people experiencing bullying
- Additional training and support for schools participating in the Rainbow Flag Award
