February is LGBTQ+ History Month, and there are lots of events and groups in Cambridge that you can join to celebrate and learn more!
LGBTQ+ History month gives us the opportunity to learn more about the incredible people who have helped shape this community by combating prejudice and celebrating stories that are often overlooked or actively erased. We take time during this month to remember the events that impacted LGBTQ+ people’s lives, and learn how those events still impact us today. By learning about the history of the LGBTQ+ community, we find sources of inspiration and hope that can help build our own resilience and help us find our own joy too.
